Conservation Project

Working alongside People's Trust for endangered species, our Dexter Cattle are helping their wilding project locally. A completely different terrain to our usual fields but one ultimately suited to our hardy animals. Covering fifteen acres of sloped land leading down to a river, the brush landscape offers an abundance of vegetation, plum and apple trees and enough interest for our inquisitive Dexters. A beautifully exciting location for us here at Philippus Farm. We look forward to learning about the plant life and species and working alongside this natural habitat. Like it should be.
