TB testing is such a worry. Google isn't always your friend when you're searching online. You start reading horror stories about 'the best' cattle that has been infected and compensation from the government not matching the worth of your cow. Legally it has to be done.
We rounded up the heifers ready to be seen by our vet. One by one a small patch of their hair is shaved and then they receive an injection. A few days later they will be seen again to see if they have a reaction. Two small bumps is ok but if they merge together it is a positive result (I'm sure there is more up it than that but this is as much as I remember). Thankfully all came back as negative. What a relief! We carry on another day.
